Born and raised in Upstate New York has given me a combination of small-town values and big-city flexibility. Phoenix is a perfect combination of both, giving me the opportunity to work hard and have fun, while enjoying the great scenery and weather too.

Design and communication are a great part of my life, inside and outside of the office. I view every project as a puzzle and I’m determined to find it’s solution. With over 20 years in the creative industry, I take great pride in sharing my knowledge with others and I’m always open to new experiences or techniques. Those years have given me experience with many types of projects, and also many clients of varying sizes. Connecting those clients to their target markets are what I find the most fulfilling part of my career.
Personal interests
I’m always up for a mountain biking trek, or a relaxing night with friends, food and fun. The cult of Apple is one I fully embrace. Learning new things about advertising, science, technology and history – as much as my memory warehouse will hold.

Designed newspaper & magazine advertising for Van Tuyl Auto Group, including collateral materials. Worked directly with client in 3 different states, receiving all information & changes, proofing work, pre-press and releasing of digital files to publications and printers. Assisted Art Director and Creative Director with projects. Filled in for Art director when on vacation or out of the office.

Conceived and produced original designs used in campaigns, including logos, print advertising, direct mail, stationary/collateral, billboard/outdoor, and web design. Layout of catalogs over 300 pages, including photography of product (1,500 items). Edited radio spots and was talent for voice-overs for radio/tv. Efficiently lead and supervised the direction of a creative staff of three graphic designers and one video producer. Worked with web designers and programmers to achieve effective solutions for clients. Managed multiple projects under tight deadlines.
